Leave a Mark

As mentioned earlier, my brief revolves around Indian typographers or type designers that have not only left a mark in the design world but have also been a strong influence and inspiration for not just me but also other budding designers. I want to work around the idea of 'leaving a mark' for a visual outcome in the process of my brief.

After some mind mapping, I got down to the idea of how we leave a fingerprint behind on everything we touch. That element is a necessary check for forensics, usual in every crime or theft scene, as also seen in movies and t.v. serials daily. That idea felt like an appropritae way to visually synthesise each indiviaduals work. The work that will be chosen from each person's background will be one letter-form that was a prominent work done by them.

A small research was done on fingerprints to understand the kind of fingerprints there are, and the ones that would work perfectly well with wach letterform chosen.
